Adveno — last updated 6 November 2026.
Adveno tracks parcels. You can use it without connecting a mailbox: paste a tracking number, or continue as a guest. Connecting Gmail or Outlook is optional. An account is not required.
A number you paste is sent to our server, then to our parcel-status service, to get the package status. Your parcel history stays on your device.
The Gmail button opens Google’s consent screen, with the gmail.readonly permission. The Outlook button opens Microsoft’s consent screen. Reading mail uses the Microsoft Graph delegated permission Mail.Read. User.Read and offline_access are used to sign in and refresh the token.
Access tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain on the device. They are not sent to our server and are not stored there.
The app reads mail on the device only to recognize shipping messages and pull tracking numbers out of them. The message text is not kept. We do not extract item names, photos, or addresses.
A number found this way is then handled like a number you typed: it is sent to our server and to our parcel-status service for tracking.
You can also forward a shipping email to your Adveno address, which looks like track-…@getadveno.com. Our server receives and reads that email to extract tracking numbers. Attachments are not used for that search. We do not keep a copy of your mailbox, or item names, photos, or addresses. Only the numbers we keep are stored, then sent to our parcel-status service like a number typed by hand.
Sign in with Apple is for the Adveno account, so you can find your tracking numbers again. It is not the mail-import path, and it does not read iCloud Mail. We keep the account identifier Apple provides and the list of numbers linked to that account.
If you turn on notifications, a technical token from Apple is linked to your tracking numbers so we can tell you about updates. It is removed when you delete the parcel.
On first launch, an anonymous attribution token from Apple may be sent to our server to measure App Store ads. It is tied to an anonymous installation identifier, not to your name. It is not a third-party ad tracker.
Your parcel history is stored on your device.
Under the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data by contacting contact@getadveno.com. Deleting a parcel in the app deletes its tracking data on our server.
